At our AGM last night, we elected the following persons

Training Scheme
We are excited to announce a new scheme designed to support your ongoing professional development! Recognising the importance of continuous learning, the Cambridge NUJ branch is now offering financial assistance for journalism related skills courses that interest you.
Under the new scheme, our branch has allocated an annual budget of £1,200 for training funds. Each member is eligible to receive up to £100 per year towards course fees. To ensure fair distribution, the disbursement per quarter is capped at £300. However, if demand exceeds this limit, the committee may allocate additional funds from the annual budget.
For your application to be considered, you must submit full details of the course, including a cost breakdown before the course start date, giving as much notice as possible. You may apply for funds up to twice per year, respecting the individual limit of £100.
The elected committee of three members will review and approve disbursement requests.
